Terms of use
Last updated October 15, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Lifetimer ("we") about using the Lifetimer app and this website. By using either, you agree to them. If you got Lifetimer from the App Store, Apple's standard license agreement also applies, and it wins wherever the two differ.
Using Lifetimer
We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use Lifetimer on devices you own or control, for your own use. Please don't copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app, or use it to break the law.
Your data
What you log is yours, and it's stored on your phone, not by us (see the privacy policy). That also means we can't recover it if your phone is lost or reset, so export a backup from time to time from the app's Menu.
Lifetimer Pro
- Pro is sold monthly, yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, at the prices shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is taken by the App Store or Google Play. A monthly or yearly plan renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a plan in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Canceling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we can't issue them ourselves.
- If Pro ends, nothing you've logged is lost and your Lifetimes stay as they are; you just can't add more than Free allows.
Changes to the app
We may add, change, or remove features. We won't take away what a lifetime purchase included at the time you bought it, for as long as we offer the app.
No warranty
Lifetimer is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be error-free, that a timer or reminder will always go off, or that your data can't be lost. Don't rely on it where a missed alert could cause harm, such as for medication.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Lifetimer in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This doesn't take away any protection your local consumer law gives you.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use Lifetimer after a change means you accept it.
