Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Lifetimer works without an account or sign-up, and everything you log stays on your phone.

How do I move to a new phone?

We recommend exporting your data first to be safe: Menu → Export backup, then Import backup on the new phone. Your phone’s own backup usually brings Lifetimer along too.

Can I add time I didn’t record?

Yes. Open a Lifetime’s calendar, pick the day, and tap Add entry. It counts toward your totals and streaks like any other.

Does a stopwatch keep going if I close the app?

Yes. Time is worked out from when you started, so it keeps counting with the app closed or the phone locked. Lifetimer checks in every hour, so a forgotten stopwatch doesn’t run on.

How do streaks work?

Your streak counts the days in a row you log a Lifetime. Log it a few times a week instead, and it counts the weeks in a row. Lifetimer works out which by itself.

What does Pro add?

Unlimited Lifetimes (Free keeps 3 active at a time), unlimited reminders, and every Showcase and share-card theme. You never lose anything you’ve logged on Free.

How do I cancel Pro?

In your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.

I bought Pro but the app says Free.

Open Menu → Membership and tap Restore purchases, signed in to the same Apple or Google account you bought with. If that doesn't work, email us.

My timer didn't ring.

Timers ring through notifications, so they need notifications on: Menu → Notifications shows whether they are. On Android, also allow Lifetimer to set alarms if your phone asks.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases go through Apple or Google, so refunds do too. On iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, open the order in Google Play's order history and choose Request a refund.
